We are launching two donation drives this week that will impact students in need!
Our PB&J and Snack Drive will run from 11/17 through 11/19. You can donate items like peanut butter, jelly, and snacks. No glass please! If you wish to make a donation, you can send an item in with your student.
On 11/22 we will kickoff our PJ and Fuzzy Socks Drive at the Boosterthon Rooftop Campout! Boxes will be set out under the awning if you wish to drop off a pair of pajamas or fuzzy socks for a child in need. Collections of these items will continue through December and can be sent in with your student.
Other Giving Opportunities
Girls on The Run Humane Society Service Project – For their service project this year, the GOTR team is collecting donations for the York Co. Humane Society. Items of need include dog and cat food, new or gently used blankets and towels, dog/cat toys and cat litter. Boxes are set out near the front entrance inside the lobby through Nov 30.
Coat and Blanket Drive for Leah’s Hope and Dreams – Ms. Chinault is leading an effort to collect coats and blankets to donate to Leah’s Hope and Dreams, an organization that provides assistance to Charlotte area homeless shelters. If you have a new or gently used coat or blanket in any size you’d like to donate, please send it in with your student by November 19th. Donations may be dropped off by your student in Ms. Chinault’s classroom or dropped off at the front office.
