Please join us for Walk/Bike to School Day on the morning of Wednesday, October 6th. This annual event encourages students to walk/bike to school in order to promote physical activity, pedestrian safety, awareness of how walkable our community is, concern for the environment, a reduction in traffic congestion, pollution, and speed near schools, and shared time with community, parents, and children.
We would love for all our students to participate. If it is safe enough and close enough, please walk from home. If not, you are welcome to drive and park in the Earth Fare parking lot, about a 1/2 mile from school, and walk the remaining distance with your child.
Please remember to be aware of traffic, look both ways before crossing the street and abide by social distancing guidelines. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
Prizes will be given to those who participate in the event on a first come first serve basis. We look forward to seeing everyone out there!

For student shoppers, eWallet is a secure, cash-free, contactless way to shop the book fair. This digital payment option can be used in-school or online at the virtual book fair. Please visit the Scholastic website to set up your account and learn about some changes to the program this year. Unspent funds will be saved in your account for use online or at the next book fair.
Bus Rider Updates!
In an effort to keep parents informed of delayed bus departures, our Assistant Principal, Ms. Conn, has created a Google Doc (linked below) that you can access daily to see when your child’s bus has left the bus lot, and if applicable, the substitute bus number as well! This will be updated in real time to help keep everyone informed. From the time your child’s bus has left our bus lot, you should expect your child home within a maximum of 45 min, and often within 10-20 minutes, depending on your bus’s route.

You can also download the Here Comes the Bus App on your smartphone to see your bus’s route in real time. The CMS district code is 73877.
Please note: The app will not be accurate if your student has a “sub bus” that day. You can find out if your child’s bus is a temporary sub bus that day by clicking the link above.
